The below verse has been popping out at me recently.
“A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.”
– Proverbs 16:9
Even as I face the new year with apprehension, excitement and a whole load of plans, I am reminded time and time again of the above word. With the endless possibilities that the new year can possibly bring, I am assured and at peace with the knowledge that no matter what I am planning or how I execute those plans, my darling Heavenly Father above is the One who will direct my steps.
