My 1st time as a cinema patron in Gold Class @ Vivocity, Singapore. A pampered and relaxing experience, although I must confess that I am not quite used to the amount of attention given to me. Loved the reclining chairs in the theatre, feels like I'm in my own private room, except that there's another 47 patrons around, in their own little private corner and the friendly crew staff who are around to attend to your needs throughout the entire movie.
Watched "Spiderman 3" with Wayne, Ketang and Ivan last night at Gold Class. And with a cup of Earl Grey tea to accompany me throughout the 2 hour plus show, it feels like I'm transported to another world altogether. If only I have the reclining chair to myself in my own place, I reckon I'll be going for movie marathons over and over again. The reclining chair by the way, is soooooo comfortable that it can double-up as my bed! Like what I casually mentioned to Ketang, I only need a bolster and I will seriously fall asleep in the comfort of the environment. Now, I am beginning to understand why folks are willing to pay SGD$25/SGD$30 for a Gold Class movie ticket. It really is quite a different experience altogether.
To top the night off, we had supper after the show at Jalan Kayu - roti prata, murtabak, teh tarik, ginger tea. Got home at about 3am and only fell asleep at about 5am this morning.
Thanks Wayne, for organising this.
