Death is never a solution to any problem.

Heard from a friend that one of her colleagues jumped down from their workplace last week. And that particular colleague is a father of 2 young kids. Was really affected by that news yesterday. No matter how dire situations may seem, death should and must never be the solution to seek. Life is such a precious gift from God, treat it with care. Why take away what God has given you so generously?

There are news every day of how people lost their lives be it through accidents, war, natural disasters, murders etc. Life is a fragile commodity. No one knows when he/she will leave this planet we live in. No matter how hopeless or helpless you think the situation is, you must never choose death. As long as you are still alive, there is always hope. As long as you still carry that breath of life, there is always a chance that things will turn around. However, once you choose the route to death, there is no longer any chance of hope or help. It ends right there, killing any dim hope. And God is a God of the impossible. He can and has and will turn things around for anyone. He has done that before for the people of Israel when they were held in captivity in Egypt. He has freed Apostle Paul and many others who were imprisoned for the sake of the gospel. He has healed the sick, raised the dead and provides without fail for His children - each and every time. To choose death is like saying that God can't solve your problem. To go the way of death is believing that the Lord Almighty who creates the entire universe, the same God who loves every single human being, is not able to help you solve your problem. And that is the biggest lie from the devil.

Our God is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow. If He has saved countless human beings from the beginning of history till now, what makes you, a mere human being, think that He cannot solve your problem? Is your problem bigger than God Almighty? Are you bigger than God?

I am extremely indignant and upset at the thought that there are people who choose to end their lives when they can turn to Jesus for help. And why am I feeling so strongly about this? For a simple reason. I used to be among those who contemplated suicide. I was among those who fell into depression and believed in the lie that death was the best solution out of my problem. That was a huge mistake I made.

Today, I thank God that I did not choose that path then. If I had, I would have missed out on soooo many great things that has happened to me - my new family members (baby niece & sister-in-law), my old/new friends, my new job, the new things I have never seen and am totally amazed at. All of that and much more - I would have missed it all together. And I certainly do not want to miss any of that for the world!

Life is filled with incredible possibilities to just give it up so lightly. Treasure your life - it's truly one of a kind.
