Watched "Burn the Floor" with Angie this afternoon @ Suntec City Convention Centre. A tad disappointed with the dance musical to be honest. Reckon all the fantastic reviews I've read about this musical kinda increased my expectations on the dance extravanganza. Found the whole performance messy and a little too repetitive. Disappointed at what is supposedly to be an internationally acclaimed award-winning dance performance.
Had an early Mother's Day celebration @ home this evening too with family & close relatives. My grandma & a couple of grand-aunties are leaving for China this week, and so we decided to bring forward the celebration. Three of my aunties from China are also down in Singapore, and it's been a pleasure meeting relatives from afar. Tonight's celebration has been a cosy and heartwarming affair. Love it when family members come together and just hang out, chit-chat and eat! Food tastes especially wonderful too when you have it with people who are dear to your heart...
