Bus Stalker

Interesting morning I had.

Usually, my uncle drives me to the bus-stop somewhere opposite Thomson Plaza, where I catch Bus 52 to go to work. On this particular morning, as usual, he was driving me to the designated bus-stop when we realised that Bus 52 was RIGHT in front of us!!!! There was a bad traffic jam as well, so there's no way I could have made it to the bus-stop.

So, what did we do? We decided to try and overtake the bus and hopefully, I'll be able to board the bus at the next bus-stop. Traffic was atrocious this morning, and we had to literally crawl behind the bus for a couple more stops before we were able to overtake it. Haha...feels like we are stalking the bus!!! Quite funny....

It was only later when I reached my office that I realised that I have taken the earlier bus. Got to my office 10 mins earlier than usual. Hehe...reckon if I just waited at my usual bus-stop, another Bus 52 would probably have rocked up 10 mins later.

One of the funny incidents in my everyday life...

Reminded me of another incident where I just missed my bus for a split second, and because I was running late, I had to catch a cab instead. Told the cabby to overtake the bus in front!!! Hahaha...the cabby was sure amused @ that time! Cost me S$2.80 for that cab ride.

Alright, back to work now!
