Spent about 2 hours sitting there, chit-chatting and reminisce about our childhood days. Days when we played Barbie dolls and pretend that our beds are boats in the midst of stormy seas surrounded by ferocious sharks. Days of secretly rummaging through our aunt's make-up kit and painting our faces for hours, only to frantically clean ourselves up the minute we hear our aunt at the doorstep. Ahhh...the little rebellious acts we did when we were kids, the conspiracies we had when we were still tiny brats. Priceless.
And of course, there were the moments of arguments. Quarrels that end up with tears and fights. Accusations that still remain vivid in our memories after years past. Disagreements that result in screams and banging of doors.
And yet, despite it all, we remain close. Wonder how that is even possible.
Realise that all close r/ships have its fair share of ups and downs. To me, a r/ship that never had any kind of conflict is hardly defined as close or strong. Relationships that stood the test of time are those that, despite fights and nerve-wrecking moments, both parties never give up on each other. Now, that will be what I called a strong bond that is unbreakable.
Praying I will have countless of such r/ships in my lifetime....
